Companies Creditors Arrangement Act (CCAA)

The CCAA is a Federal Statute that provides a flexible platform to enable a restructuring of a Company experiencing financial difficulty, under Court Protection.

A sign of a good CCAA Plan of Arrangement is one that provides for a reasonable plan that enables the debtor to survive as well as providing for a beneficial result for those creditors who have extended credit to the business.
